Guest Comments

“What a spectacular place.  We have had the best experience here.  All the little details of hospitality have made this weekend the best.  We will be back and will make this our annual getaway.  Thank you for everything.” -Guests from Austin, TX

“My wife and I celebrated our 13th anniversary in Fredericksburg, staying at Palo Alto Creek Farm, in The Barn. At the end of the day when you are ready to escape the crowds and hustle and bustle of tourists in town, it is more than worth the short trip out to the solitude and peace of the farm. Sit, relax under the 800 year old oak tree, and watch the deer feed. We also had the joy of meeting the property owners which just added to the grace of this trip. We will be back for certain, and recommend to everyone looking to get away and spend quality time with each other!” Jamie

“If you’re looking for a true Texan experience on your holiday/getaway you must book a stay at Palo Alto Creek Farm. The property is located just 10 minutes outside Fredericksburg, but feels like it’s miles away from civilization. We stayed in “The Barn”. It was amazing. Everything we could possibly need was at our fingertips. The breakfast was billed as “continental”, but don’t be fooled by that description….enough food was provided for us that we cracked a vintage from a nearby vintner and had dinner as well. Carter and her assistant Lupe will see to all your needs…right down to homemade gingerbread cookies to greet you! Plenty of towels, spa tub, iron/board, soaps, shampoo, hairdryer, tv, movies….this establishment has it all. My only regret was that we moved on to another B&B for the remainder of our stay!” Jan, Mansfield TX
