Guest Comments

“My husband and I have been to Fredericksburg for 12+ years for getaways. Over the years we have stayed in all the “premier” houses, but your place here in Palo Alto is the very best. You can count on seeing us among your guests at least every June-July and times in between when we need extra ‘down time’. We love this place.” Guest from Houston, TX

“We stayed in the Log Cabin and were very happy. I loved sitting on the porch swing on the back porch with my coffee each morning. I loved that you could grind your own coffee, and the hazelnut cream coffee was outstanding. I loved that they left you a ton of food for breakfast, and you didn’t have to go share breakfast with other people. It was nice to have a quiet breakfast together at our leisure. I loved the fireplace in the bathroom. (Note: the shower is tiny, but it does what it’s supposed to do.) I loved that we were in the country, but were close enough to town for dinner and shopping. I loved the peacefulness of the property. We’ll definitely go back!” TripAdvisor Reviewer, Cypress, TX

“I needed a place to rest, relax and recharge and the Barn was the perfect location. My husband and I stayed for four nights. I could have stayed twice as long. The location is lovely and peaceful – farm animals, plus deer and cats, plus gorgeous stars at night. The bed and bathtub were both huge and relaxing. I loved sitting in front of the fireplace with a book. The porch is very inviting. We each had a massage in the “secret room.” The breakfast food left in the fridge was abundant and of high quality.” Missy Pie, North TX

“My husband and I recently returned for our third stay at ‘The Barn’ at Palo Alto Creek Farm… once again, we were not disappointed! Our weekend was incredibly relaxing… the accommodations and treats from the front door to the frig were as wonderful as the times before… the weather was absolutely perfect… and, one of the best treats of all, we were blessed to meet the owners and their son on the day of our departure! Calm and peace reside at Palo Alto Creek.” The Largents, The Woodlands TX
